This facilitated presentation and panel discussion will focus on Transit Asset Management practices and requirements to maintain a State of Good Repair for the nation’s public transportation systems. The importance of conducting and understanding condition inspections, risk analysis, economic valuation, and budget forecasting to support future maintenance activities will be discussed. As our transit infrastructure continues to age, best practices to manage data, programs, and maintenance activities will become increasingly important in order to facilitate doing more with less, and prioritizing project rehabilitations and replacements.
